For the book cover design telling the story of both Istanbul and Arnavutköy with a history from the establishment of the Republic to today, an interpretation of the historic background with modern touches was very important.
The photography used in the design was enhanced by applying a colour filter of Sephia and highlighted by its characteristic edge embellishments. With a modern typographic interpretation of the final touches, the humble story of Arnavutköy has been portrayed.
